The Southgate Skill Building Program aims to integrate consumers successfully into society by providing activities that will enhance necessary personal, social, and vocational skills.

 

*Goal Oriented Program

*Main St.

Main Street is open from 8:45am to 2:45pm for use by the Skill-Building consumers, as well as any other consumers visiting the Southgate Clinic.  Main Street includes a coffee shop, clothing store, a library, a fitness club, computer lab, and a food pantry. 

Skill Building staff use Main Street as a way to provide hand-on vocational training and coaching, as well as for reinforcement of social skills, problem-solving skills, and money management.

   controlled environment.             

*GED Prep

  •    Three days a week for two hours

 

New recovery gardening program that runs in the summer months to promote health and wellness. Once the vegtables are grown, you can take them home and cook them or practice cooking in our SIL Apartment.
