Nursing

The nursing staff at Team Mental Health Services support psychiatrists and clients in the management of medication, and to enhance the overall health of the clients.  Nurses also provide educational opportunities to clients and their families.

 

Nursing responsibilities may include:

- Assessment of physical health  

- Administration of medication

- Monitoring for side effects from medical     treatments

- Medication and health  education

- Teaching techniques to aid recovery and help manage future crisis
